I am a active and community minded individual, involved in many local community groups and associations throughout the Cowichan Valley District. Serving as Executive Director for the Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce, since 2009.  In my heart always giving back to the community.

I am very proud to have received National awards for my community service and affiliation with the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation: Most Valuable Volunteer and a Leadership award for my involvement and leadership with the CIBC Run for the Cure. I have always been committed to giving back to the community as a volunteer, giving my heart and spirit, always trying to help make a difference.

I have spent half of my working career in Ontario, working in Finance as an Accountant for an engineering firm Philips Consultants, also working Part – time in Interior Decorating with Eatons Custom Interiors. I relocated to Yellowknife, NT in 1989, working 10 years in Customer Service with Canadian Airlines. After the collapse of Canadian Airlines, I relocated to Vancouver Island with my husband, and the kids (my dogs) currently living in the Chemainus, Ladysmith area.
